نجح فريق مانشستر يونايتد في تسجيل هدف التعادل في شباك فريق ليفربول، في مباراتهما الجارية حاليًا في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

ودخل مانشستر سيتي في مفاوضات مع فرانكفورت في الأيام القليلة الماضية، ولكن ليس هناك اتفاق نهائي بين الطرفين ورغم ذلك من المتوقع الوصول لحل وسط.

ولكن مصادر الشبكة في مانشستر سيتي تفيد بأن الصفقة قد تنتهي بمبلغ 70 مليون يورو ثابتة بالإضافة إلى 5 إلى 10 ملايين أخرى كحوافز.

ويريد مانشستر سيتي من خلال المدير الرياضي، تكشيكي بيجيريستين، إنهاء الصفقة في غضون 48 ساعة القادمة، وذلك قبل مباراة فرانكفورت أمام بوروسيا دورتموند يوم الجمعة المقبل.

With Josh Maja and Daryl Dike also unreliable options in reserve up top, owing to their own injury issues, this could be a risky move, but one that pays off, especially if Campbell is able to replicate the heroics of Dwight Gayle in Albion colours.

Gayle would also arrive to the Hawthorns off an indifferent spell at Newcastle United himself before bursting into life in his new Championship surroundings, joining on loan for the 2018/19 season after only scoring six Premier League goals the campaign before for the Magpies.

The now 34-year-old free agent would go on to become an instant Baggies legend, netting 24 goals in total when donning his new West Brom strip, from just 41 games.

The injury-prone 24-year-old would only need 15 touches on the South Coast to fire in the winner against Russell Martin's eventually promoted Saints, which would prove to be one of his last goal contributions for Stoke, taking his goal total to 36 from 164 games.

He could well become even more of a goal threat in his new location, surrounded by the likes of Jed Wallace and Grady Diangana teeing up chances for him, as West Brom eye another promotion charge.

A blistering Billy Stanlake spell and another Usman Khawaja masterclass guided Queensland to a four-wicket Marsh Cup win over Tasmania at Bellerive Oval in Hobart.Stanlake took a career-best 4 for 24 ripping through Tasmania’s top four with extreme pace and bounce while Khawaja controlled the chase superbly with a classy 93, following on from his fourth-innings century in the Sheffield Shield clash on Saturday.Stanlake set the game up after Queensland won the toss. He claimed all four wickets with short balls as Tim Paine, Caleb Jewell, and Mac Wright struggled to control hook and pull shots while Jake Doran gloved one through the keeper. When Marnus Labuschagne ran out Tom Andrews with a direct hit, the Tigers had slumped to 7 for 143 with 17.5 overs left in the innings.But Jordan Silk came to the rescue continuing the superb form he showed in the BBL. He made 77 from 88 balls to hold the innings together. He put on 53 with Nathan Ellis who contributed 21. Jackson Bird then clubbed 27 from 25 balls to lift the total up to 237. Matt Kuhnemann took 3 for 47 for the Bulls, including the key wicket of Silk.Khawaja then took charge in the chase. He put on a 53-run opening stand with Sam Heazlett and an 87-run stand with Joe Burns to break the back of the chase. Nathan Ellis returned for the Tigers to cause a few heart murmurs in the Queensland camp. He knocked over Burns and Khawaja in consecutive overs. O zagueiro Thiago Silva falou sobre o fato de seu colega de Seleção Brasileira, Neymar, cogitar que a Copa do Mundo de 2022 será a última na qual vestirá a camisa canarinha. Em entrevista coletiva nesta terça-feira (12), o defensor destacou.

– É uma situação bem difícil. Embora a gente sofra pressão de todos os lados, parece uma pressão pessoal sobre ele. Estamos deixando de lado o que o Neymar está fazendo dentro de campo. É claro que ele se cobra muito. Sabe que não fez um jogo “de Neymar”, como costumamos falar. Mas a cobrança não vem sendo de acordo com o que ele faz em campo – e traçou um paralelo com o que passou no Mundial de 2014:

– Fui chamado de chorão, psicologicamente fraco, coisas que sei que não sou. Espero que ele consiga superar, pois o Neymar dá conta com recado quando está bem. Quanto mais ele estiver contente, melhor será para Seleção – completou.

O zagueiro, que completou 100 jogos com a camisa da Seleção Brasileira, pediu um pouco mais de cuidado.

– Independentemente do jogador, a gente tem que ter um pouco mais de tranquilidade e análise da situação. Porque por vezes a gente fala, depois se arrepende e pede desculpa. Nós jogadores não temos esse tempo. Sofremos críticas e pressão. Quando a pessoa fala determinada coisa, no dia seguinte pede desculpa como se não tivesse acontecido nada. A gente sabe da responsabilidade aqui dentro. Mas em relação as coisas externas, não temos muito o que fazer. Temos que desempenhar o melhor possível e conseguir vitórias, como temos feito nos últimos jogos – e apontou:

– Temos sido criticados pela forma que jogamos. O momento não é dos melhores, apesar dos resultados positivos. É momento do homem testar uma ou outra situação. Raphinha e Antony tem entrado bem nos jogos. Se ele testa está errado, se não testa está errado. Precisamos entender o lado dele. O quanto é difícil escalar e convocar a Seleção Brasileira. As pessoas só pensam do lado delas e esquecem do outro, do humano. Estou feliz pois estamos na direção certa. Não temos que ficar pensando no passado, mas sim tentar resolver o que podemos resolver – completou.

Perguntado sobre o centésimo jogo, o zagueiro foi categórico.

– É um dia importante, embora já tenhamos uma idade bem importante. Uma experiência diferenciada. Mas temos sempre o sonho de criança. A gente vai sempre em busca do que sonhamos. Se estou aqui hoje é por um sonho. Lembrar do meu primeiro presente é muito fácil. Uma bola de futebol, jogando no quintal de casa. Pelada na rua, cheio de pedra, furando o pé – declarou.

Thiago Silva também recordou seus momentos quando era criança.

– A infância foi assim. Eu procuro sempre lembrar desses momentos, pois nem tudo foi felicidade nas nossas vidas. Sempre passamos por dificuldades e aprendizados. Fico muito feliz de completar 100 jogos. Continuando em busca dos meus sonhos. Como o Dani Alves fala, uma pessoa sem sonho é uma pessoa morta. Espero que todos nós possamos continuar com nossos sonhos – assegurou.

Ipswich make £10m new bid for "incredible" ace

According to TWTD, Ipswich have made a second bid worth £8m plus £2m in add-ons for Blackburn Rovers striker Sammie Szmodics, but have been rebuffed in their efforts to sign him.

This decision is believed to have "triggered" the Republic of Ireland international, who is "understood to be very keen on the move" happening this summer.

This is clearly a frustrating situation for both Ipswich supporters and Szmodics, considering the Irishman could be a superb summer signing, having caught the eye so much in a Blackburn shirt of late.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a sensational season last time around, scoring 27 goals in 44 appearances in the Championship, winning the Golden Boot in the process and finishing three strikes clear of runner-up Adam Armstrong, who was playing for a superior team in Southampton.

كما نشر هالاند مقطع فيديو عبر حسابه الرسمي على “إكس”، يظهر خلاله وهو يجلس على الثلوج، وقال بنهاية الفيديو: “أنا باقٍ هنا”.

وفي حديثه عن عقده الجديد، قال هالاند: “أنا سعيد حقًا بتوقيع عقدي الجديد وأن أتطلع إلى قضاء المزيد من الوقت في هذا النادي العظيم”.
