وقال منصف إن ميار شريف وفريق العمل حاليا في زيارة سريعة لمصر، وفور وصولها شعرت ببعض الإعياء، وعلية تم إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة وتبين ايجابية الحالة.

وأضاف أن الفريق حاليًا قائم على العمل من أجل تعديل جداول تدريبات وبطولات وارتباطات البطلة المصرية التي كان من المقرر أن تشارك في بطولة في البرتغال في منتصف الشهر الحالي، تمهيداً للاشتراك في بطولة رولاند جاروس بفرنسا، إحدى البطولات الأربع العظمي في التنس.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has given his thoughts on Jack Grealish’s recent position change and why the move has ultimately paid off.

What’s he said?

Before the international break got underway, Villa picked up only their second win of this Premier League campaign.

They were surprisingly rampant against an injury-stricken Norwich City as the west Midlanders stuck five past them in Norfolk, having only scored eight goals in their previous seven outings.

Villa’s captain scored one of the goals in that game and has since drawn praise from his 48-year-old boss.

Speaking to BirminghamLive, Smith said:

“He did quite well and we did it against Burnley as well.

“He’s a player who I think can score more goals, create a lot more as well. I just felt in those games we needed to move him on a little bit further, a little bit higher, getting him closer to Wes.

“It took a little bit of me talking him into [switching position] at first but he’s loving it now, creating a couple, has scored one and long may that continue.

“He’s not an out-and-out left-winger, he’s playing a little bit closer inside to Wesley and personnel has just helped that given Matt Targett’s more of an offensive full-back than Neil [Taylor] is.”

Paying dividends

The move to play the 24-year-old further forward appears to have changed Villa’s fortunes slightly – more proof will be needed in the next handful of matches, but so far, the signs are positive.

Grealish bagged an assist against Arsenal when he was moved further forward, and now he has notched his first goal of the Premier League season, per WhoScored – it’s as if someone had been listening to Football FanCast’s previous advice as we suggested that a more advanced position for the captain would bear fruit.

Smith’s move shows his managerial ability in greater depth too, which should serve as a reminder on why Villa have genuine survival chances and that their summer comparisons to Fulham were merely naive.

He isn’t afraid to change his methods, and if it ruffles his players, then he doesn’t mind as he states above when Grealish needed convincing to switch roles.

Villa have a tough run of games on the horizon with reigning champions Manchester City and the current league leaders Liverpool within two weeks of each other, but those can be free-hits on their season.

It appears that Newcastle United fans have run out of patience with manager Steve Bruce and want him out of the club.

The former Sunderland manager took over the role from Rafa Benitez, as the Spaniard was unable to agree to terms for a new contract at St James’ Park.

The Magpies find themselves in the relegation zone after nine games due to a disastrous start to the new campaign. Bruce’s side have only picked up just two wins and have only scored five goals while conceding 14 and losing five matches.

The question was pitched to the Toon Army on Twitter as they were asked to say something to the manager if they had the opportunity to do so.

One fan said that Bruce should swallow his pride and that he is not good enough to take the Magpies forward. He added that he should leave now for the love of the club.

Another supporter had no sympathy for the manager’s situation with one bluntly saying “mind shutting the door on the way out”.

أوضح بيبي مدافع بورتو البرتغالي، أنه يعتقد أن كريستيانو رونالدو سعيد في يوفنتوس ويأمل أن يبقى لسنوات أخرى.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast ahead of the London Football Awards, Tony Cottee spoke of how impressed he has been by Sebastien Haller’s start at West Ham after he was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer.

The Frenchman arrived after the tumultuous relationship between the Hammers and Marko Arnautovic finally came to an end, with the club’s two-sentence farewell offering an insight into how frustrated the Austrian had left everyone during the final few months of his Irons career.

Despite the sourness between player and club, Cottee felt that it was important he was adequately replaced: “Marko was a player who was developed into a centre forward and he played that role very well, he was pacey and he was a good player, I enjoyed watching him at the club.

“It was probably right for him to move on and the question for West Ham was how do you replace a player like that?”

The eventual answer was to make a club-record move for Haller, who was coming off the back of a season in which he had more goal contributions than starts in the league, amassing 15 goals and nine assists in 23 Bundesliga starts and six substitute appearances, as per WhoScored.

The hefty price tag meant there were also large expectations, but Cottee has indicated that he hasn’t been disappointed so far: “The early signs are good in terms of Haller, he’s got four goals so far this year in the Premier League, which is a good return out of the first nine games.

“He holds the ball up well, he’s good in the air, he’s a good finisher. He looks like a really good addition to the squad.

However, the former West Ham striker and England international feels Haller’s teammates can still do more to get the best out of him: “I think at times he’s been a little bit isolated up front, so he could do with a little bit of help, but I’ve been impressed.”

The signs are there that if players such as Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini get close the 25-year-old more often, he will be able to bring them into the game, as he is already averaging 7.1 aerial duels won and 1.1 key passes completed per game.

West Ham are in concerning territory, having now failed to win in their last five games in all competitions, but Cottee appears to have faith that Haller will be able to help turn things around for the team.

Former Premier League footballer Danny Mills has likened the up-and-down form of Marcus Rashford and some of his Manchester United teammates to Theo Walcott – saying the striker has a mild form of ‘Theo Walcott Syndrome’.

Rashford had scored in United’s three games prior to their weekend defeat at Bournemouth, following the 22-year-old’s goals against Liverpool and Norwich City as well as his match-winning double at Chelsea in midweek.

But as United drew a blank on the south coast on Saturday lunchtime, Mills compared the extreme highs and lows of Rashford’s form to that of Everton winger Walcott, claiming a lot of United players are suffering from similar disparities within their performances.

He told TalkSPORT: “One minute he’s a world-beater and the next you are going, ‘what’s happened? He’s gone?’

“It’s not quite as dramatic, but it’s almost like ‘Theo Walcott Syndrome’. He’d score a hat-trick and you’d think, ‘oh my goodness, he’s arrived! That’s it, he is going to kick on’.

“But then he went missing for the next five or six games.

“I think a lot of United’s players are like that.”

Mills’ harsh critique of Rashford makes it hard not to feel sorry for the England international, here. It is as if Mills expects Rashford to keep scoring game after game, without considering the weight of pressure he must be feeling having been left to lead the line for an underachieving United side.

Even so, he has notched seven times for the club this season already.

That he has managed to score four in his previous four starts for the club – as well as getting on the scoresheet for England recently, too – is a sure sign of the youngster’s promise, with Rashford already racking up 50 goals in United colours having turned 22 last week, making the timing of Mills’ comments all the more bizarre.

Meanwhile, Mills is also arguably harsh on Walcott, who but for a career stacked with injuries, could have got even more than the 108 Arsenal goals, three FA Cups and 47 England caps he has earned throughout his career to date.

However, that may leave Rashford well-placed to usurp the achievements of Walcott in the years to come, and prove Mills wrong – especially if he is tasked with spearheading United’s attack as he has done so far this season.

Celtic enjoyed a famous 2-1 win away to Lazio in the Europa League last night, with Olivier Ntcham scoring a stoppage-time winner for Neil Lennon’s team.
