De volta às Laranjeiras em 2017, Abel Braga reencontrará no Fluminense jogadores que já comandou em outras oportunidades. É o caso de Wellington Silva, lateral-direito que trabalhou com o treinador no próprio Tricolor e também no Internacional, em 2014. Nottingham Forest have confirmed that James Clarridge has signed his first professional deal with the Reds.

That’s according to a statement posted on the club website, in which Forest revealed that they have tied the highly-rated 17-year-old centre-back, who has been on the club’s books for 10 years, down to a professional contract.

In reaction to the deal, Clarridge said: “This is a really big step for me and I’m excited to continue my time with the club. My first professional contract is a big step for me and my family and it’s a really proud moment for us all.”

Hughton will be buzzing

With The Athletic’s Paul Taylor stating his belief that Clarridge is one of Forest’s stars of the future, the fact that the Reds have got the signing of such a promising young player over the line is sure to delight Chris Hughton.

According to Taylor, the 17-year-old is seen as a “very interesting” prospect by the Nottingham Forest academy staff.

Having regularly featured for both the club’s U18 and U23 sides this season, the centre-back has demonstrated that he is already comfortable while in possession of the ball, as well as showing that he has the attributes to develop into a leader at the club. It is also claimed by The Athletic that Clarridge is very strong physically, while also being accomplished technically.

In the same article, it is reported that a number of Premier League clubs had been beginning to take notice of the Forest youth prospect, who is currently a part of the England U17 setup.

As such, the fact that Clarridge will now be spending the next few years with Forest, at the very least, is undoubtedly fantastic news for the club, as it would very much appear as if the Garibaldis could have a real talent on their hands in the not so distant future.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إسبانية، عن موقف الشاب أنسو فاتي لاعب فريق برشلونة من المشاركة أمام ريال مدريد في الكلاسيكو يوم الأحد المقبل.

أنسو فاتي يغيب عن برشلونة منذ 20 يناير الماضي بسبب إصابة في الركبة تعرض لها أمام أتلتيك بلباو، ولكنه يقترب من العودة مرة أخرى للمشاركة مع البلوجرانا.

فاتي عانى كثيرًا من إصابات الركبة والتي أبعدته عن معظم المباريات الموسم الماضي، ورغم عودته هذا الموسم، إلا أنه تعرض لإصابة الغضروف المفصلي للركبة مرة أخرى.

وقرر فاتي أن يواصل التعافي دون خوض عملية جراحية، خاصة وأن في كلا الحالتين ستكون نفس مدة الغياب.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa may be making a real howler over Sam Greenwood this summer as news emerges from Thorp Arch about the club’s potential plans for him.

What’s the story?

The 19-year-old only joined the Whites’ youth system last summer, but he has been a revelation for the club’s U23s, helping them to the Premier League 2 Division 2 title.

However, it now appears that his immediate future could lay outside of Elland Road, with The Yorkshire Evening Post’s Graham Smyth revealing that he could be sent out on loan.

He said: “Leeds may also listen to loan offers for striker Sam Greenwood, signed from Arsenal last summer, who scored a dozen times in 18 Premier League 2 fixtures this season.

“The YEP understands there was Championship interest in the 19-year-old’s services during the campaign but head coach Marcelo Bielsa wanted him to develop at the club.”Deserves a first-team chance

In his first season with the club, Greenwood managed 12 goals in 18 games, playing in a number of different roles, including up front, behind the striker and further back as a central midfielder.

The Athletic’s Phil Hay has previously been very vocal in his praise of the youngster, saying: “He’s started really well at Leeds and he was very well thought of at Arsenal, and they weren’t rushing to get him out (of) the door this summer. From what we’ve seen of him so far, his movement and his finishing and everything else, he looks like a very natural striker.”

Meanwhile, Leeds Live’s Joe Donnohue said: “He may have hit the ground running at Thorp Arch, but he has only been here for a matter of months. His start may have been excellent, so imagine how much better he could be with consistent football.”

Rather than sending the highly-exciting prospect out on loan, could Greenwood be offered the chance to prove himself in the first-team during pre-season and seeing whether he can cope with Bielsa’s demands?

The teenager made the switch from Arsenal to Leeds after failing to break through at the Emirates, and a loan deal just seems like the kind of thing that would have happened had he stayed in north London.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has been handed a major boost in his club’s chase for Sheffield Wednesday defender Osaze Urhoghide.

Reports in recent weeks and months have suggested that Bielsa is very much interested in luring the 20-year-old to Elland Road, and now The Star have delivered a major update on his future.

They reported that, amid uncertainty at Hillsborough, and Wednesday’s inability to offer the financial package he could get elsewhere, Urhoghide looks set to be on his way out of Hillsborough when his contract expires this summer.

The report added: “The Star understands that Urhoghide has not yet made a final decision on where he will be playing his football next season, but has put regular first team football and stability on the top of his wish list rather than financial gain – with several clubs at various levels banging down the door to try and get him on board.”

A lesão de Thiago Santos pode abrir espaço para a contratação de outro atacante pelo Flamengo. O clube já procurava por um jogador de lado de campo, com características ofensivas, mas pode aumentar a procura para duas peças.

ترددت بعض الأنباء خلال الساعات الماضية حول طلب الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، تجنيس المهاجم المغربي عبد الرزاق حمد الله، للمشاركة مع الأخضر في كأس العالم القادم والذي ستستضيفه دولة قطر في نوفمبر 2022.

وتأهل منتخب السعودية إلى كأس العالم، بعد احتلاله وصافة المجموعة الثانية برصيد 19 نقطة، خلف اليابان المتصدر بـ 21 نقطة.

وتداولت أخبار عديدة في الساعات الماضية، بشأن رغبة الأخضر في تجنيس عبد الرزاق حمد الله مهاجم فريق الاتحاد السعودي، قبل المونديال.

وأشارت أن اللاعب نفسه لم يناقش الفكرة ولم يطلب التجنيس، وهو ما يؤكد أن كل تلك الأنباء عارية تماما عن الصحة.

وأوضحت أن حمد االله شارك من قبل مع منتخب بلده المغرب، وحال رغبته في المشاركة مع الأخضر من الأساس سيتحتم عليه إسقاط جنسيته الأساسية والتقدم بطلب لـ “فيفا” من أجل المشاركة مع الأخضر.
