أعلن نادي تشيلسي الإنجليزي، فجر اليوم الجمعة، تعاقده مع لاعب جديد، لتدعيم صفوفه ليكون اللاعب رقم 11 الذي ينضم إلى النادي اللندني، في نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية.

With the likes of Luis Diaz and Philippe Coutinho being linked with a move to St. James’ Park in recent days, it suggests that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) consortium are now looking for a winger in order to bolster their forward line following their takeover in the northeast.

He is out of contract at Napoli at the end of the season, but given that he has played at the highest level throughout his career, including in the Champions League and Serie A, he may want to move to a club other than the Magpies.

However, if the Tynesiders manage to avoid relegation, the Italian could be tempted by a move to the Premier League, with an ambitious project to get the Toon up to the very top.

The Verdict: Huge scalp

It would certainly be a huge scalp to lure the Napoli captain away from his club to go and join the Magpies, so it may take a big bumper contract in order to persuade him.

Regardless of what he is paid, there is no doubt that Insigne is a quality player, having played more than 400 times for the Serie A club, including 79 matches under former Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez, in which he scored 11 goals and supplied 17 assists (Transfermarkt).

The current Everton coach sang the praises of the Italy international back in 2015 when he was the forward’s boss at Napoli, and Insigne’s consistent presence in Italy’s Euro 2020-winning team shows that he can still perform on the big stage.

A Napoli great, he is inspired by club legend Diego Maradona, of whose face he has a big tattoo on his leg; and if he can channel his inner Diego, he would no doubt be a force to be reckoned with at NUFC.

Para isso, treinou como titular na quinta-feira e participou dos trabalhos sem restrições nesta sexta.

O treino do dia, aliás, foi atrasado em alguns minutos porque um ninho de quero-queros foi encontrado na área de um dos gols em que seriam comandadas as atividades. Após os animais atacarem os goleiros Cássio e Caique, funcionários do clube retiraram o ninho e liberaram a área para os cruzamentos e finalizações dos jogadores do Timão. No outro campo, Carille separou a linha defensiva titular (Fagner, Balbuena, Pablo e Guilherme Arana) e reserva (Léo Príncipe, Pedro Henrique, Ameixa e Marciel) para um trabalho de movimentação das linhas e balanço defensivo.

He said that the total of 100 overs could be split into four innings of 25 each, which would mean that no side would have the best of the conditions for the entire match.Tendulkar said he first thought of the format during the Champions Trophy final in 2002 where India played Sri Lanka in Colombo. In that match, Sri Lanka batted 50 overs before rain washed out the game shortly after India began their chase. On the reserve day, rain once again forced an abandonment after Sri Lanka had completed their innings.”I am for 50-over cricket. I think we should have 25 overs a side to start with. I thought of this during the 2002 Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka,” Tendulkar told , an Indian news channel. “In the finals, we ended up playing 110 overs against Sri Lanka. First they played 50 overs and we played 10 overs before the rain interruption. The next day, Sri Lanka again played 50 overs and in the end we were declared joint winners. I thought, 110 overs and still no result.”That is when I thought, we should have 25 overs first for one side and then the other, and then once again 25 overs for one side and then the other. Today, we can tell the result of close to 75% of matches after the toss. We know how the conditions will affect the two teams. But it [his idea] is not too dependent on the toss because, for example, in a day-night match both the teams will have to bat under lights. The conditions change very dramatically but this would ensure that it’s same for everyone.”Tendulkar’s comments come at a time when the future of the one-day game is being questioned. The ECB is also likely to propose that the ICC conduct a formal review of the future of the 50-over format after the 2011 World Cup to protect the ODI structure amid the rise of Twenty20 cricket.

He is capable of popping up with a goal or assist from the middle of the park and that talent could help the Magpies to win games in the second half of the season in their fight against the drop.

Therefore, Howe and PIF must launch an official swoop for the 27-year-old and attempt to bring him to St James’ Park in the winter window.
