Wolverhampton Wanderers face the nervy prospect of potentially needing to replace their whole midfield this summer, with the likes of Ruben Neves, Leander Dendoncker and Joao Moutinho all linked with moves away from the Molineux.

Losing Moutinho would be a huge blow but fortunately, Lage may already have a replacement for the latter, with 24-year-old Connor Ronan ready to stake his claim.
The midfielder is out of contract in the summer so will need to sign a new deal himself. However, after spending the last six years on loan, he is finally ready for first-team life at Molineux.
His latest spell at Scottish Premiership side St. Mirren has seen the Republic of Ireland youth international elevate his game to new heights, all whilst discovering his goal-scoring touch.

Ronan’s seven goals and four assists this season in 25 SPFL appearances has seen him scoop three awards for St. Mirren – the player of the year award, social media player of the year and goal of the year.
Moutinho replacement
The 24-year-old, who has been described as a “lovely” by former teammate George Dobson, has earned plaudits from Saints manager Steve Robinson, who has reiterated that he would like to keep Ronan at the club, as per Birmingham Mail.
Though, with the uncertainty of Moutinho amidst Roma links, Lage may want to give Ronan a chance to fill the boots of the Portuguese veteran.
This season, we’ve seen the likes of 23-year-old Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall seize his opportunity at Leicester and immediately adapt to Premier League football, after completing a couple of successful loan spells.
Wolves have the opportunity to test Ronan’s ability in the top flight in the exact same way.
His end product and consistency in Scotland’s top flight would suggest that he has all of the attributes needed to adequately replace the 36-year-old Moutinho, though the Wolves gem will need to improve on his average passes per game average of 39.5 which falls under Moutinho’s Premier League average of 55.5 passes per match average, as per WhoScored.
If he can do that, though, he could well leapfrog the current darling of the academy, Luke Cundle, in the midfield pecking order. However, he will have to earn a new contract first.

Paul Collingwood believes he has chosen the perfect moment to end his Test career, as England close in on an unprecedented third innings victory of their tour of Australia, a result that will go a long way towards erasing the bitter memories of the 5-0 whitewash of four years ago, and bring Collingwood’s own career full circle after the role he played on his home Test debut at The Oval in 2005, in the game that ended Australia’s two-decade-long dominance of the Ashes.Speaking on the day he made his impending retirement public, Collingwood described his feat of playing 68 Tests as an “over-achievement”, and modestly stated that England’s ambition of becoming the No. 1 team in the world will be that much more attainable without him blocking up an end in the manner that he has made his trademark in the course of the past five years.”In many ways it’s a sad moment, but I honestly think it’s the right time, and in many ways it’s the perfect moment,” said Collingwood. “This is what I’ve been playing the game of cricket for, to be in a position against Australia in Australia like this. I know I haven’t contributed with the bat in this series, but I’m a very, very happy man.”At the age of 34, Collingwood knew he was on borrowed time at Test level. His last meaningful innings was against Pakistan at Trent Bridge in July when he made 82 alongside Eoin Morgan, the man most likely to take his place in the middle order. Some of the players I’ve played with in that England dressing room have been exceptional, and I can safely say that the environment we’ve got in that dressing room is a very special place. It didn’t work last time around, but I honestly believe we have skilful cricketers in England, and we’ve got a culture that believes we can beat anyone in the world.”I think that part of the game, the mental side, the belief, is a huge part, and creating a culture like that in the dressing room is more important than a lot of the technical work you do in the nets. These guys have worked long and hard for that, but they can get better as well, and go from strength to strength.”Matt Prior, who scored his first Ashes century on the fourth day at Sydney, said that Collingwood would be greatly missed within the England dressing room. “The part of a cricketer you don’t see is the part away from the cricket ground,” he said. “Everyone will know the stats and the important innings he’s played, the great catches he’s taken and the wickets he’s taken. But it’s what a bloke like Colly brings to the dressing room, he’s definitely been one of the catalysts of why this team is where it is right now, and why the team spirit is like it is.”Collingwood admitted his motivation for making his announcement mid-Test was to scotch the whispers that had already begun to circulate, and also because he secretly believed that England might have won with a day to spare. And while he said that he had not intended to make a fuss about his departure, he admitted to feeling goosebumps in the final half-hour of the day, when England were pushing for victory with the Barmy Army in full cry.”I’m a softie really, to be honest,” he said. “I always said I wanted to bow out in England in front of English fans, but that felt like home tonight, with the atmosphere that was out there. It was very special. Someone said to me yesterday, I might not be too bothered about a massive swansong, but a lot of fans might be. When you look around the ground, you deserve to have those lasting memories.”

Desde 2015 no clube, Lindoso está suspenso por causa de três cartões amarelos. Assim, o LANCE! estuda o terreno e analisa possíveis soluções que Valentim, sempre enigmático quanto aos titulares, possa pôr em campo no domingo. Há até a possibilidade de uma mudança de esquema.

Surrey academy players Zafar Ansari and Tom Jewell have signed professional contracts with the club.Allrounder Jewell, 19, has been handed a two-year deal while left-handed-batsman Ansari, who only recently turned 19, has a two-year summer contract to play for the club while he continues his degree at Cambridge University.Both players have been involved in age-group cricket at Surrey and are the latest products of the academy to achieve professional status after Matthew Dunn, Jason Roy, Tom Lancefield and Rory Burns all signed deals earlier this winter.As well as representing Surrey, Jewell is a regular for Guildford CC in the Surrey Championship Premier Division and made his debut for the county at Under-15 level. He made his first-class debut against Loughborough UCCE in April 2008 and has played five times for the Surrey First XI in different forms of the game.Ansari made his Surrey debut at a young age, impressing at all levels of age-group cricket and captained England Under-15s. Ele falar que não conhecia o técnico do Corinthians, 100 jogos, ele já trabalhou no Atlético-MG, foi um desrespeito muito grande e fui cobrá-lo. Também depois da partida, Diego Aguirre explicou a situação. Ele admitiu que não cumprimentou Carille, mas afirmou que o motivo foi por estar focado na partida. O técnico são-paulino, inclusive, ficou surpreso ao saber que o rival vazou a questão para os jornalistas, demonstrando incômodo.
– Fico surpreso que a primeira pergunta seja sobre o Carille, não sobre o que aconteceu dentro de campo. Normalmente, as coisas que passam dentro ficam ali. É uma coisa normal, eu estava focado no jogo. Estava pensando em coisas do jogo, não estava olhando. Não vejo que seja uma coisa errada, mas como ele talvez não entendeu, acabou o jogo e fui falar com ele: “me desculpa, eu não reconheci você”. Nunca tive nenhuma diferença com nenhum treinador em toda a minha carreira. Isso não existe, acabou, fica dentro de campo – declarou o uruguaio.

وتابعت: “وأفاد بلاغ للشركة الوطنية أنه إثر القيود الأخيرة التي فرضتها السلطات القطرية، تأسف الخطوط الملكية المغربية لإبلاغ زبائنها بإلغاء الرحلات التي تؤمنها الخطوط الجوية القطرية”.

واختتمت: “في هذا الصدد، ستقوم الخطوط الملكية المغربية، في أقرب الآجال، بسداد مبلغ التذاكر للمسافرين المعنيين بإلغاء هذه الرحلات، وتدعو الشركة الوطنية إلى عدم التوجه للمطار، وخلص البلاغ إلى أن الخطوط الملكية المغربية تقدم اعتذارها عن هذا الإزعاج الخارج عن إرادتها”.
