Australian cricket will be in search of a new Test match sponsor ahead of the 2013-14 Ashes series, after Vodafone announced it would end a union that has lasted 11 years and furnished the game with more than Aus$10 million in financial support. The telecommunications company will end its relationship with Cricket Australia following the end of next summer’s series against South Africa and Sri Lanka.Vodafone first chimed in as Australia’s major Test-match backer when Ansett Airlines collapsed just weeks ahead of the 2001-02 home summer, and has promoted the brands Orange, Three and Vodafone in turn over more than a decade. كشفت تقارير صحفية أن نادي مانشستر سيتي مستعد لمناقشة ملف تجديد عقد نجم الفريق إيرلينج هالاند، في ظل أدائه الخرافي في موسمه الأول بملعب “الاتحاد”.
كان إيرلينج هالاند قد انتقل إلى مانشستر سيتي قادمًا من بوروسيا دورتموند، الصيف الماضي، حيث وقع عقدًأ ساريًا حتى عام 2025.
وسرعان ما تألق النرويجي مع مانشستر سيتي، حيث نجح في تسجيل 42 هدفًا في مختلف المسابقات، بما في ذلك 28 هدفًا في 26 مباراة فقط في الدوري الإنجليزي.
وسبق أن ذكرت تقارير صحفية أن هناك بند في عقد هالاند يتيح له الرحيل مقابل 200 مليون يورو في عام 2024، وينخفض إلى 175 مليون يورو في العام التالي.
وتغير الأمر بمجرد تجديد عقد المدرب بيب جوارديولا، حيث تسبب ذلك في بقاء قيمة الشرط الجزائي في عقد هالاند كما كانت في البداية، أي 200 مليون يورو في عام 2025 وليس 175.
وحسبما ذكرت شبكة “90min” الإنجليزية، فإن مانشستر سيتي يسعى إلى إزالة بند الشرط الجزائي في عقد هالاند.

وأوضحت أنه بالرغم من كون مانشستر سيتي لا يشعر بالقلق بأي حال من الأحوال تجاه مستقبل هالاند، إلا أن مسؤولي النادي مستعدون للجلوس ومناقشة عقد جديد.
وأفادت بأن العقد الجديد لن يؤدي فقط إلى إزالة الشرط الجزائي، بل سيكافئ هالاند على مستواه الرائع وانفجاره التهديفي.
وارتبط هالاند في الفترة الأخيرة بأكثر من نادِ، مثل ريال مدريد وبرشلونة وباريس سان جيرمان وبايرن ميونخ، ولكنهم يدركون تمامًا أن الطريق الأكثر ترجيحًا لضمه يتمثل في دفع قيمة الشرط الجزائي، ولذلك يرغب مانشستر سيتي في حذفه.
